Everyone needs a role in a k-group. Be it the leader, the dancer, the vocalist, the maknae, the joker, etc. So here is what I think would suit U-KISS’ members.

Now as we all know, and kiss-mes like to enrage whenever someone gets this wrong, U-KISS has no official/appointed leader. Anyone who assumes this position is merely being authoritative and should be shot immediately. No~ Please put your pitchforks and torches down, I simply jest! But in terms of age, the hierachy from eldest to youngest would be like this: Alexander, Soo Hyun, Kibum, Kiseop, Eli, Kevin, Dongho.

There’s no question about whether Dongho is the leader, because he’s the maknae, so he can’t possibly be in charge of all his hyungs. He’d get beaten up. ^-^ NAwww, who’d beat up cutie Dongho? -glomp-

The leader is usually the eldest in the group, as seen from MBLAQ, SHINee, SNSD etc. So Alexander could be the leader. But Xander has already got a role to play, that’s the rapper. And so is Eli. Let’s check out the remaining 4 then.

SooHyun and Kevin are already the main vocals of the group. So let’s give some one else a chance, eh?

Then there were 2. Kiseop and Kibum.  Kiseop is all new to the group, the rookie member who joined the latest, surely he doesn’t qualify to be the leader. But, Kibum has quite a bit of experience in the industry, being a former member of Xing, so he should be the leader.

Therefore, I vote for Kibum to be the leader. Because he has the qualities, the aura. And he doesn’t seem to have any thing else to do, considering they give all the vocal parts to Kevin and SooHyun. Kibum had several lines in Not Young, something like 2 lines in man man ha ni, and it shrank to what, 1 line in Bingeul Bingeul. Do you see the trend?

So here is the summary:

Soo Hyun – Main vocalist
Kevin – Lead vocalist (you can switch around main and lead, they both sing well)
Dongho – Maknae
Eli – Rapper
Alexander – Rapper
Kibum – Leader
Kiseop – Folding screen ^-^ (It fits well because he’s so pretty)

It looks like Eli and Xander need something more to do too though. One of them can be the best dancer. Or they can be in charge of English-speaking countries PRs. lol.

While writing this post, I have become much too aware of how old I am. U-KISS’ oldest is like 1988! And let’s not mention Dongho’s age. It’s like 1 digit. xP I kid. Anyway, I’m somewhere in the middle of their ages. But my talent is nowhere near what they’ve got. Sigh~ I am now feeling very forlorn :(
